San Antonio is well-known for its scenic cycling paths, which are ideal for both individual and family bike rides. Below are some of the most popular bike paths in San Antonio.

1. Leon Creek Greenway is a tranquil bike path that stretches 13 miles in Western San Antonio. The path winds along Leon Creek and is characterized by scenic views dotted with ponds that act as a habitat for birds and other wildlife. The paved trail is mostly flat with a few gentle slopes.

2. O.P. Schnabel Park, popularly referred to as “the cleanest little park in Texas,” is located on Bandera Road. The park previously known as Bandera Road Park has a beautiful bike path surrounded by natural and native vegetation. Popular with San Antonians, you may have to slow down occasionally to accommodate those on foot.

3. The San Antonio River Walk path consists of over 30 miles of paved trails, making it a perfect choice for you and your family. The northern section of the trail goes from Bracken Ridge Park toward Mission Park, while the southern section of the trail runs from Concepcion Park to San Antonio Missions National Historical Park.
