The Evolution of Blox

It has been an exciting year here at OpenBlox, starting off with an idea that has now evolved through many iterations to become the game and world that it now is.

Throughout this process, we have been sketching and iterating on different versions to continually improve what we will finally release, to ensure that what you guys end up playing is the highest quality, with well thought out game dynamics and style. Our aim has never been to rush something out, but rather to spend thousands of hours crafting to the best of our ability to create a world-leading platform and games within this so that your NFTs and personal Blox characters will be long-lived.

We thought it prominent at this juncture to share some of the behind the scenes processes so that you can see where we started and where we are now…

Each race of Blox started out as an initial sketch, which over several iterations became the Blox that you can see and own today.

The in game cards used for battling went through many different processes of evolution to get to where we are now, each timing honing in on the style that we wanted.

Careful detail was even spent designing the icons you see above each Blox head here in the battle screen below.

More details will be revealed soon on the importance of these within the gameplay…
