Thinking With Love

Thinking with love we want to help others and save the lives of plants, animals, humans, everything, anything, and everyone who needs help.

The ringing of Joan’s cell phone ended her daydreaming at the beach with her summer body. Brad Pitt and George Clooney admiring and complementing her while sipping champagne from a pineapple. She snatched the phone off her desk and said, “Girl you are interrupting my party with Brad and George.”

“They are old, what’s wrong with you and these old men?” Tessa, her best friend said.

“They are very wealthy men. And you have a husband. I don’t,” Joan reminds her.

“One I am planning to leave. His mother made lots of mistakes when raising him and I am tired of fighting fire with fire,” she complained.

“You use rage to fight rage in your marriage?” slipped from Joan’s thoughts as the words of Grace bounced around in her head. “I have two tickets to see Motivational Speaker Grace Linton tomorrow night. Why don’t you come with me?”

“I don’t know,” Tessa expresses her doubts.

“She is that good,” Joan complements Grace.

“Ok,” she agreed. “I am staying at your house for the weekend. I need to recharge my nerves away from the fire brewing in my marriage!” she hangs up.

In the front seat at the Rose Valley Auditorium, Joan and Tessa sat awaiting Grace Linton. She wasted no time after entering dressed in blue jeans shorts, black sandals, and a pastel purple T-shirt with ‘I Think With Love’ written on the front. A cordless microphone in her right hand.

She scanned the room and remarked, “more females than males, so fire is in your homes and life!”

“Damn! She is good!” flew from Tessa’s mouth and she stood up, saying, “Yes, it is, and I am taking a gallon of gasoline home with me!”

“How long are you married,” she asked Tessa.

“Five years,” Tessa said. “And I blame his mother.”

“Why?” Grace asked.

“She didn’t raise him well,” she complained.

Grace stared at her, eased back on stage, and said, “People who thinks that they should fight fire with fire in their relationships or life aren’t thinking…
