Live Like A Roller Coaster

Well some say that live seems like a roller coaster that keeps moving and all you have to do is just flow with the tides.

Over the years, I have tried to x-tray this concept in my mind and try to determine the degree of veracity in this saying. And came to a conclusion that live isn’t a roller coaster as they say, but operate by set of principles, that we don’t just have to flow with the tides and go where ever life leads us.

I found out that too many often, there’s this desire that burns on the inside of me, to pay attention to every vibes that seems to be in the air, to give complete expression to that energy on the inside of me and so I did what so ever I desired, made what so ever decision I felt like making without considering first the consequences. But you see everything that operate in life, operate by rules.

It would seem that live has shouldered me with the great responsibility of knowing “What Counts”. Yes to know what counts and give it my utmost best, and obtain the golden price it proffers.

In my quest for truth I found that, there are things that come first before all else and I was expected to give them my best to get the best of life, like the 80–20 principle. Well here are some lists of what counts which I found;

*My relationship with God (i.e. my faith).

* Family (remembering that family always come first) and strategic friendships which have been placed in my life (Godly associations).

* My passion for life (those dreams locked up on the inside of waiting to emerge).

*Principles I have come live by, which are the pillars of life.

*And others which are important to me.

I soon found out that each decisions I make daily either took me to the sides of “the beasts or the angels”, leading either closely to fulfilments or alter misery. I soon found out that certain privilege and assets which I had were simply resources and shouldn’t determine my definition of what success is and certain actions weren’t necessary.

And daily I keep asking myself this one question; “are you on the side of the beasts or the angels”, because the quality of my choices determined it.
